The Memphis Grizzlies traded away their only first round pick in Thursday’s 2023 NBA Draft.
What a trade it was……
It was a trade that looks to only enhance the well deserved label of ‘Gritty’ that’s often used to describe the Memphis Grizzlies over the years.
If there was ever a player who could be described as ‘Gritty’ or a player who seems to fit an organization like a glove, that player is Marcus Smart for the Memphis Grizzlies. It just makes too much sense, and looks extremely ‘Smart’ to bring in a guy that displays the Grit and Grind the Grizzlies. Pun intended.
